Donate to My Causes

The challenges and adversity I will face during the race is nothing compared to what some people deal with on a daily basis. Please help me as I racing for them.  These are five of my favorite causes:

ALS (Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis) -

The Association leads the way in research, care services, public education, and public policy — giving help and hope to those facing the disease. The Association’s nationwide network of chapters provides comprehensive patient services and support to the ALS community. The mission of The ALS Association is to lead the fight to treat and cure ALS through global research and nationwide advocacy, while also empowering people with Lou Gehrig’s Disease and their families to live fuller lives by providing them with compassionate care and support.

Leukemia and Lymphoma Society-

The mission of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) is: Cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families. LLS exists to find cures and ensure access to treatments for blood cancer patients. We are the voice for all blood cancer patients and we work to ensure access to treatments for all blood cancer patients. As there are no means of preventing or early screening for most blood cancers, the LLS research agenda is focused on finding cures. LLS drives research in areas of unmet medical need, and helps to bridge the gap between academic discovery and drug development. LLS identifies and funds the most promising blood cancer research projects and forges partnerships with academic institutions, biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies to accelerate the development of new therapies..

The Miami Project to Cure Paralysis -

Since its inception, a goal of The Miami Project to Cure Paralysis has been to increase the number of laboratories undertaking SCI research by recruiting the premier scientists to the field, and by training students who will establish new research laboratories throughout the world. Today, The Miami Project serves as a model for other institutions that are developing centers for SCI research.

SafeSpace from Domestic Violence -

SafeSpace offers victims of domestic violence safety, support and education, empowering them to create an independent life, free from violence. SafeSpace is the only Certified domestic violence Center saving lives 24/7 and preventing domestic violence throughout the Treasure Coast.

Detroit Youth for Christ

Detroit Metro staff are involved with young people from Wayne, Oakland and Macomb Counties. Specialized programs address the needs of students utilizing community centers, churches, high schools, middle schools, and local hangouts. YFC staff and volunteers meet with young people who are unchurched, hard-to-reach and need Jesus. We also walk alongside of Christian young people encouraging them to abide in Christ and reach out to their friends.
